Driving by UNR's Main Station Farm on McCarran Boulevard in the early morning. I had to stop to get this photo. I know I have other photos of this same ranch in the fog but this is awesome.

The Bota box

A good friend has pointed me in the right direction. J.S. suggested that this box wine was a good everyday wine. I agree. I tried the Old Vine Zinfandel with huge thumbs up. GO BOTA!

Update

I'm kinda a wine snob if you don't already know but this wine is actually good stuff. I found that they have in red (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Malbec) and in white (Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Riesling)

I like to think about the life of wine. How it's a living thing. I like to think about what was going on the year the grapes were growing; how the sun was shining; if it rained. I like to think about all the people who tended and picked the grapes. And if it's an old wine, how many of them must be dead by now.
