Driving by UNR's Main Station Farm on McCarran Boulevard in the early morning. I had to stop to get this photo. I know I have other photos of this same ranch in the fog but this is awesome.

Starbucks is changing their logo. I love Starbucks.

The Bota box

A good friend has pointed me in the right direction. J.S. suggested that this box wine was a good everyday wine. I agree. I tried the Old Vine Zinfandel with huge thumbs up. GO BOTA!

Update

I'm kinda a wine snob if you don't already know but this wine is actually good stuff. I found that they have in red (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz, Malbec) and in white (Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Riesling)

Maddy's B-Day

 

For Christmas I received "Lord of the Flies"

I had never read this book and always wanted to. I just finished it and it was fantastic. Piggy!!!

Maddy had her birthday party at the Coconut Bowl.  I got some time on the camera.

Maddy plays with Tulip and Sadie at Christmas dinner.

I took the Maddy and Casey to the movies and on the way home we stopped by the Donut Bistro on Pyramid. The crumb cake is my favorite.

Home for the holidays. We stayed home for Christmas this year. Nice and quiet.

A passenger while my daughter drives

My oldest daughter is practicing for the driving test she scheduled later next month. So, as her passenger (I should be paying attention to the road but am not) I whipped out the iphone and with the lens app and one of settings I got this great photo of the drive between my house the the city.
