We stayed at a great bed and breakfast, Querencia Inn in Murphys California. It is located on the top of a hill in the Sierra foothills in gold country. Look at these images of the upper portion and the views from the railing. This was one of the best inns that I have ever been to. The owners made us and my wife's sister and husband feel like family.
