hail in May or at least half-way to June

With everyone asleep, sitting quietly reading my blog feeds on a cloudy, dark Sunday morning I hear the falling of hail right outside the window.  Isn't supposed to be May? Yep in Northern Nevada it does this at anytime of the year.  I'm still going to plant some nice cherry tomatoes today even though you're supposed to "plant when clear of frost", never.

Also, back to those blog feeds.  I just found a great one, "Strange Geographies" at.  So of his entries are from right around here, well a bit south but fairly close.
