Celibration of our first date 26 years ago

We had a very nice first date anniversary.
Our server, Barry at the Reno P.F. Chang's, started out our little celebration with a impromptu wine tasting.  He started out by bringing out a Spellbound Petite Sarah reserve which was very good and among the nicest I've had in a long while.  I remarked that he brought me a very nice wine and he started what would follow as a great line up superb wines.  The second was a Hess Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon which was big and bold with a nice mouth and nose.  I was happy.  Third was a Vietti Barbera which I describe as a good summer wine. It was a good wine but in the wrong place and time.  The next unexpected surprise was a Meomi Pinot Noir.  This was another stellar wine and right on with my taste in wine. After what was a very good dinner (selected by our server) he had a last wine to follow the desert, a Seghesio Zinfandel.  I have had this wine before and it is a good follow up to the feast.  The server was only worried that we had a great anniversary and not about the price of the wine and food he brought as gifts.  We told him that we will cover anything he brought but he wouldn't have it.  The manager came over and talked with us and gave us good wished, he was the one that suggested the Meomi. We will be back to such great service.  Thank you, P.F. Chang's for a memorable special occasion.
